Dear Henry,

Today we saw some strange goats that climb into trees. Well, maybe they are not so strange because they climb into trees called goat trees so probably they think they are supposed to do that. Papa was very brave with these creatures as you can see by the picture where he is feeding one. I had to be coaxed to hold a baby goat. But isn’t he cute? He looked like a toy goat and was very soft. We decided he would make a good little pet for you and good friend for Lily. The man in the field we paid to have him shipped to you said he should arrive by UPS soon.
